Letter to Parents:
I continue to believe that Evolve Performance and your son/daughter have a mutuality of responsibility and accountability. When we are aligned and are working to accomplish the same goals, success is inevitable. Athletes, coaches and staff that live life the right way, and put forth great effort cannot be stopped short of success because they are too invested in making sure they cannot fail. With constant dialogue and focus on “above the line behavior” if embraced by coaches and athletes alike we will be a team that has an uncommon commitment to one another and the hard work necessary to achieve our mission.
All of us will work diligently to teach the student-athletes how make this investment. They will be introduced to the core values by which they must live and abide by on a daily basis. Honesty, Respect of Women/Women of Men, No Bullying, No Drugs, No Weapons, No Stealing are the core values of our team. I believe you will agree with me that these core values can be values that can guide you son or daughter throughout his/her entire life and enrich and reward his/her family life.
My standards are clear, and I expect coaches and athletes to perform to those standards. I am passionately committed to equipping my coaches and athletes to meet those standards. I am aware of the brain maturation differences as young people and young adults’ age. Standards are specific to the age to the athlete. Exercise and training should be fun. Applied Sports Psychology has proven that athletes that have positive reinforcing coaches have a significantly lower dropout rate from programs and that winning was less determinant than coaching behavior in an athletes’ desire to continue in the sport or return to the coach. I use “reward power” to motivate athletes to give their absolute best when they do something exceptional and have criteria on how to move up to those higher classification levels – this includes better training attire and spirit wear, having a say in the design and selection of uniform kit, Victory Meal upscale dinners after All-World Mark performances, captainship, unit leaders, and Leadership Council made up of excellent character and work ethic athletes that decide team building activities as well as how to handle potential conditions for disciplinary action for infractions to avoid suspensions giving the team the say “in deciding your fate.” I believe this system of “reward power” and facing the jury of your peers prepares athletes for life after young and young adulthood, developing a strong work ethic equating to reward and discipline occurring when an athlete is unaccountable for their actions-damage. I care deeply about my athletes and their families. Athletes will be nurtured intellectually, nutritionally, academically, socially, and if they want it, spiritually. I have had the good fortune to have made great relationships and outstanding support systems on my club teams since 2008. Our athletes and families are very close and we strive to create a family atmosphere. Families are encouraged to host dessert and movie nights in their homes, and for athletes to study together and tutor each other.
I take the responsibility of being a role model, leader and trainer of your son/daughter seriously, entrusting me with your son/daughter, as well as being a key component of their athletic success and enjoyment of their athletic careers. Together we will create a team in which fun, discipline, perseverance, confidence and lifelong friendships is cultivated.

• Faith Mentorship
I have an impassioned drive to mentor and spread Faith beliefs and wholeheartedly believe in the directive to be part of the “Great Commission” as a man of Faith. A major part of why I have decided to return to coaching is because I truly believe in the scriptures from the Bible that include “For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” (Ephesians 2:10). “If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn't do it, it is sin for them.” (James 4:17). My Spiritual life is the most important aspect of my life, and I know that Gifts are for servant-ship; talents are for others. Coaching and maximizing the potential of student-athletes is a talent that if I didn’t use would be a waste of doing the good works that I believe I was put here for. It is a value and belief in my family that “we are here to help others” as the reason we are here. Coaching has been an extremely potent way for me to do that. I did not take this decision lightly. Formerly my stance was that Faith was not good for business or pushing it on to others. After deep consideration on the balance of potential negative and positive benefits of running a Faith business, I have decided that it is the right decision all the way. It is a salient factor in my decision to coach club (private) athletics at this time. Athletes will be given optional access to Bible study, devotionals, and discussion. Biblical principles that I believe are applicable to character enhancement and living the right way, secular or of faith, will be applied team-wide. A couple of them that the team will adhere to are: “Let another praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger, and not your own lips.” (Proverbs 27:2). “Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.” (Ephesians 4:29). "Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets." (Matthew 7:12).
